How To Combat Wind Bite In Babies
December 1st, 2009
The most common cause for cheek rashes on babies is that which is called "wind bite". The soft, tender skin of a baby is very fragile and even the slightest breeze in a very short amount of time (getting in and out of a car) can cause a rash. The rash is more common on the cheeks as the baby is usually only exposed here in windier weathers.
I'm sure there's physical protectors and also creams the doctor can prescribe for curing wind-bite, but to prevent it I've found a great remody that works the same as sun block does against U.V rays.. Vaseline! A generous amount applied to each side of your babies face will keep them that bit more protected from the wind and hopefully rash free.
